Thurs 7th Jan 2016 – Railway Roots – support for TV Smith

Absolutely thrilled to be be supporting TV Smith, founder member and singer-songwriter for 70’s Punk Rock band, The Adverts, at The Railway Roots Night, Railway Inn, Hove on Thurs 7th Jan 2016.

I played guitars, mandolin and provided some backing vocals on some of TV Smith’s solo albums in the 1990’s, namely ‘March of the Giants’, ‘In the Arms of My Enemy’, ‘Not a Bad Day’ and I am very honoured to be on the same bill as TV, whose songs embody the original spirit of punk rock. Also on the bill is political folk songster, Jon Mason.

This will be my first gig of the year and I’ll be teaming up with fiddle player, Simon Yapp, who played on my ‘How That Dust Jumps’ album.
